<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To three-dimensionally visualize a gap space inside a product at high speed and to speed up volume calculation of the gap space. <P>SOLUTION: A calculation area including a three-dimensional product model is set and a plurality of cross-sectional images are segmented from the calculation area. The respective cross-sectional images are divided into a plurality of pieces of voxel data and voxel data of a gap area inside the product is generated from the pieces of voxel data. A three-dimensional model of the gap area inside the product is generated and volume of the gap area inside the product is calculated based on the voxel data of the gap area obtained from the respective cross-sectional images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
