<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control unit for appropriately controlling power, when a fault occurs in a partial power output system of a power supply section having a plurality of power output systems, and to provide electric equipment. <P>SOLUTION: In a composite device 1, when a power fault detection module 107 for control detects the occurrence of a fault in partial power modules 101-104 for control of the power supply section 100 having a plurality of power modules 101-106, the power fault detection module 107 for control makes the operation of units 10, 30, 60, 70 stop except for units 10, 30, 60, 70 used in an operating mode, when a fault occurs in a plurality of scanner engine units 10 operated by receiving power supplied from the power supply section 100, a plotter engine unit 30, a FAX unit 60, and a controller 70, thus continues the operation of the units 10, 30, 60, 70 used at least in an active operating mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
