<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which can prevent both a supply waiting time after a recording indication is received before a supply waiting state of a recording medium from a manual feeding path is released, and a supply starting time after the recording medium is set in the manual feeding path before the recording medium is started to be supplied from being set to be unjust values, by carrying out processing of recording medium feeding conformed to a user's use form, and to provide a method for controlling the recorder. <P>SOLUTION: At least either one of the supply waiting time after a printing command is received before the supply waiting state of the paper P1 from the manual feeding path C is released, and the supply starting time after the paper P1 is set in the manual feeding path C before the paper P1 is started to be supplied is set and changed according to an indication of setting change of a supply time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
