PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle state quantity estimation device capable of improving estimation precision of a state quantity indicating the motion state of a vehicle. SOLUTION: This vehicle state quantity estimation device includes a sensor such as GPS receiver 11 for observing a predetermined state quantity indicating a vehicle motion state and a Kalman filter 200 for estimating a state quantity indicating a vehicle motion state including the predetermined state quantity. In this estimation device, reliability of the predetermined state quantity observed by the sensor is evaluated and a reflection degree of the predetermined state quantity with the Kalman filter 200 is set based on the evaluated reliability.
