PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed molded product which certainly brings the end part of a skin into close contact with a core material to prevent the leak of a foamable material and capable of omitting a process which cuts the unnecessary skin after a foam layer is formed, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The core material 2 is set to the upper mold 11 of a mold 10 while the skin 4 is set to the lower mold 12 of the mold 10, and after the mold 10 is registered to closely bring the end part of the skin 4 into contact with the core material 2, the foamable material is injected in the gap between the core material 2 and the skin 4 to form the foam layer 3. Herein, when the mold 10 is registered, the projection 13 preformed to the lower mold 12 is pressed to the end part of the skin 4 to form a slit 4b to the end part of the skin 4, the unnecessary part of the skin 4 can be simply removed along the slit 4b after the foam layer is formed.
