PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery capable of stopping or reducing abnormality such as an overcharge. SOLUTION: In the secondary battery, a power generation element having an electrode plate is housed in an outer packaging member and sealed, and an electrode terminal connected to the electrode plate through a conductive member is led out from the outer packaging member to the outer part. An easily melting part 41e which is easily melted than the other part of the inside insulation layer is formed on the part opposed to a cathode side conductive member and an anode side conductive member in an inner side resin layer of the upper part outer packaging member 41.
