PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile station device and a handover method capable of transferring untransmitted data without increasing a processing load imposed on an aGW in the case that handover is applied from a mobile communication system adopting LTE to a mobile communication system adopting a UTRAN. SOLUTION: The mobile station device usable for a first mobile communication system and a second mobile communication system in order to solve the problem is provided with: a second concealment release means for applying second concealment release processing to divided packets subjected to second concealment processing; a coupling means for executing retransmission control to the divided packets subjected to the second concealment release processing, couples a plurality of the divided packets, and generating an IP packet subjected to first concealment processing; and a first concealment release processing means for applying first concealment release processing to the IP packet generated by the coupling means and subjected to the first concealment processing.
