PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To commonize parts in products which a kind of distance detection device is built in since the same can cope with a case that digital output is required even in a case that value in formation of distance is required, and provide advantages such as limitation of number of managed parts, reduction of manufacturing cost due to scale enlargement, and simplification of service parts management. SOLUTION: A distance measurement device for detecting distance by signal wave includes a plurality of output functions for indicating output information for distance detection.
