PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device and a communication method capable of maintaining high communication efficiency, even if it is necessary to process a number of frames having a low priority level of data transmission. SOLUTION: When the traffic of the frame having a priority level not less than a prescribed level is not detected, a setting is performed for increasing the traffic of the frame having the priority level less than a prescribed level.
