PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, a compact camera used in only biometric authentication is limited in use, and that when the camera is used in the other use, a focus distance required for the other use of the camera largely differs from a requirement in the biometric authentication, because a lens designed for the biometric authentication should be used when only replacing a filter with the other filter which is different in optical characteristics, thus causing an increase in cost when a lens usable for both the biometrical authentication and the other use is used. SOLUTION: The compact camera for the biometric authentication can be used for other use by providing a means capable of replacing a lens and a filter arranged on the optical axis of the lens and a means for changing the signal processing of post-stages for the replacement of the lens and the filter.
