PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedometer capable of presenting information effective for improvement of a user's life activity pattern. SOLUTION: The pedometer is provided with an operation part 2 constituted of a plurality of buttons, a display part 6 on which the information such as the total number of steps in a day and the number of steps by every time zone, etc. is displayed and a plurality of lighting parts 7 circularly arranged in the perimeter of the display part 6. The 24 lighting parts 7 are provided, associated with 24 time zones obtained by classifying a day by unit of hour such as 0-1 o'clock, 1-2 o'clock, .., 22-23 o'clock, 23-24 o'clock, measure the number of steps by every time zone and light the lighting part 7 corresponding to the time zone when the number of steps is more than a predetermined value.
