PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the action of an owner in the future in an autonomous mobile device autonomously moving along with the owner. SOLUTION: This autonomous mobile device a<SB>1</SB>is provided with a camera 10 and a communication unit 12 for acquiring information relating to the current moving speed and moving direction of an owner B<SB>1</SB>; a path/request speed calculation part 23 for calculating the moving speed and moving direction of the owner B<SB>1</SB>in the future; a display method determination part 24 for determining the display length and display color of an arrow-shaped orbit S<SB>1</SB>showing the moving direction and moving speed of the owner B<SB>1</SB>in the future; and a projector 42 for projecting the orbit S<SB>1</SB>based on a command from the display method determination part 24.
