PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an automotive fuel, by which the stable automotive fuel having good flowability at low temperatures can be produced in relatively simple treatments. SOLUTION: This method for producing the automotive fuel is characterized by comprising a plasma process 15 for activating a vegetable oil of raw material with plasma, an ozone treatment process 16 for treating the activated vegetable oil with ozone to lower the molecules of fatty acids in the vegetable oil, and a methyl esterification process 17 for methyl-esterifying the ozone-treated vegetable oil in the presence of a solid alkali catalyst.
