PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fish scale remover capable of improving working performance in cooking by having a fish meat splitting preventive function, almost without causing scattering of scales in scaling a fish by using this simply constituted equipment. SOLUTION: A scraping member 3 formed curved by holding a prescribed curvature is fastened inclined at a prescribed angle on a head end part of an operation rod 2, and the scraping member 3 has a protruded slant face part 7a facing the operation rod 2. Additionally, the scraping member 3 has a lower circular arc part 4 of a prescribed curvature formed on a lower surface and an upper circular arc part 5 of a prescribed curvature formed on an upper surface, and the lower circular arc part 4 and the upper circular arc part 5 are connected to each other by a protruded slant face part 7a formed on the side facing the operation rod 2 and a recessed slant face part 7b formed on an opposite surface of the protruded slant face part 7a.
