FIELD: electrical engineering; active anode material for lithium storage batteries. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed material has complex of Si-phase ultra-thin particles and oxide around the latter, as well as carbon material. Proposed production process includes production of complex that has ultra-thin Si particles and oxide around the latter by mixing silicon oxide and material characterized in absolute enthalpy (Deltahfor) of oxide formation higher than that of silicon oxide.
