<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating body driving device which achieves high image quality by reducing a speed variation component generated in a driving transmission system, and improves the stripe of an image caused by density unevenness called banding, and also to provide a photoreceptor unit equipped with the rotating body driving device, and an image forming apparatus equipped with the photoreceptor unit. <P>SOLUTION: The rotating body driving device has: a photoreceptor; a photoreceptor shaft attached to the photoreceptor; a driving motor for driving the photoreceptor; a driving motor shaft attached to the driving motor; a first gear attached to the driving motor shaft; and a driving transmission gear for transmitting the driving of the driving motor from the first gear to the photoreceptor shaft, and rotates the photoreceptor.
