PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound having cyclopentaphenanthrene structure capable of performing a dry and wet processing, excellent in thermal stability and having excellent electric charge-transporting characteristic and light-emitting characteristic, and an organic EL element by adopting the same. SOLUTION: This organic compound is expressed by chemical formula 1. The organic electric field light-emitting element is provided by containing the organic compound in its organic membrane.
