<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to search for an error page after printing even when the error page is generated in an image forming apparatus without the paper shift function. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing part 3 forms image data in units of one pages from a printing job, and designates and outputs a first cassette 11 corresponding to a printing paper of the image data among first and second cassettes 11 and 13 and a manual insertion tray 15 where printing papers of different sizes are set. The image processing part 3 detects a page where the image data cannot be obtained as the error page. An engine controlling part 5 controls printing to a printing engine 9 on the basis of the image data and designation data of a paper feeding stage. An error processing part 7 controls the engine controlling part 5 to supply the paper from the manual insertion tray 15 different from the printing paper of the printing job, and to insert the paper to a position of the error page when the error page is detected by the image processing part 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
