<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bat for baseball or softball, which can be improved in durability and has a hitting ball section equipped with an elastic body. <P>SOLUTION: A bat 1 for baseball or soft ball has a head section 2a, a hitting ball section 2b, a tapered section 2c and a grip section 2d. A core material 2 has a concavity 2b1 in the hitting ball section 2b. An elastic body 3 forming a surface layer of the hitting ball section 2b is attached to the surface of the concavity 2b1. Then, the elastic body 3 is composed of an olefine resin having an elastic modulus in 100% elongation of 1.2 MPa or more and 7.0 MPa or less and a repeat compression permanent set of 0.9% or more and 3.8% or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
