MOBILE STATION APPARATUS, BASE STATION APPARATUS, AND PAGING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile station apparatus, a base station apparatus, and a paging method, which can avoid transmission of unnecessary paging information.

SOLUTION: The mobile station generates a random access channel including information showing that it is a response to the paging indicator channel based on the paging indicator channel transmitted from the base station when there is a call to the group to which its own station belongs. The mobile station transmits the random access channel. The base station detects the random access channel as the response to the paging indicator channel. The base station judges whether the paging information is generated based on the detection results of the random access channel. The base station generates the paging information based on the judgement results.
