<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately identify the shape of separation occurring in a bonded part in a structure by using an optical fiber sensor. <P>SOLUTION: An optical fiber b6 is arranged on an adhesion layer a3 of a composite material (a) for a structure. An optical fiber sensor (FBG sensor) emitting reflected light having a spectrum changing in response to strain is formed in the optical fiber b6, and dispersedly arranged on the adhesion layer a3. An optical spectrum analyzer b3 acquires spectrum information from the reflected light to transmit it to an arithmetic processing unit b1. The arithmetic processing unit b1 identifies the separation shape of the adhesion layer a3 by alternately repeatedly executing first shape identification calculation using strain calculated based on the spectrum information, and second shape identification calculation by a spectrum shape of the reflected light based on the spectrum information while using a previous identification result for an initial value of succeeding shape identification calculation. The identified separation shape of the adhesion layer a3 is graphically displayed on an image display device b2 along with its arrangement on the adhesion layer 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
