<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for easily obtaining maintenance information from a water heater device body without using a radio remote controller. <P>SOLUTION: A relay device 1 communicates with the water heater body 3 via cables, and conducts radio-communication with the radio remote controller 5. The maintenance information is displayed in the relay device 1 which relays the radio communication of the radio remote controller 5 to remotely control the water heater body 3. The relay device 1 comprises a switch part 12 for setting the address of the radio remote controller 5; a control part 14 for controlling the relay device for communicating with the water heater body 3 via cables by using the address assuming the address set by the operation of the switch part 12 as the request from the radio remote controller 5, to obtain the maintenance information stored in the water heater body 3; and a display part 13 for displaying the maintenance information received from the water heater body 3. In this way, the maintenance information can be obtained and displayed in the display part 13 through cable communication with the water heater body 3 in the relay device 1, without using the radio remote controller 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
