<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of scheduling a device in order to erase a job and confidential data stored in a nonvolatile memory of the device. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a method of receiving at least one parameter related to an initiation of an overwrite operation, and a method of determining a temporal start based on the at least one parameter.
