PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a game player to recognize the display result of a variable display even when a display controlling means could not receive a command for designating the display result of the variable display, and at the same time, to enable the control burden of a game controlling means to be reduced. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 560 for game control transmits a variation pattern command designating a probability variable jackpot/normal jackpot when the probability variable jackpot or the normal jackpot is determined. Also, the microcomputer 560 transmits a display result command which designates the probability variable jackpot, or a display result command which designates the normal jackpot. A microcomputer 100 for performance control executes the variable display of decorative pictures from the variation pattern command. In this case, if the display result command could not be correctly received by a cause such as a data transformation, probability non-variable pictures are derived and displayed as the stopped pictures of the decorative pictures from the variation pattern command.
