PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a record management device which can mitigate the burden of installation work. SOLUTION: NVRs 100a and 100b includes CPUs 112. The CPUs 112 distinguish whether the color temperature of a light source of field image caught with an attention camera corresponds to sunlight, based on still picture data given from the attention camera through a communication I/F circuit 110. As for the recording place of the field image caught with the attention camera, a storage 116 formed in the NVR 100b is set up when the distinction result is affirmative, while a storage 116 formed in the NVR 100a is set up when the distinction result is negative.
