PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to simply select a desired keyword. SOLUTION: If electronic program guidance data are received which are broadcasted multiplexing on program data of a broadcasting program, a digital broadcast receiving unit 102 stores them in a program guidance data storing unit 105. If keyword information is received from a server through an Internet dedicate line, etc., a network connection unit 103 stores it in a keyword storing unit 106. If a keyword display instruction is input from a remote controller 101, etc.; a CPU 107 reads out the keyword information stored in the keyword storing unit 106, creates key word selection screen data which are arranged the keywords in an order of Japanese syllabary based on a hiragana notation character string of the keywords, and writes them in an OSD (on screen display) memory 110. A DAC (digital analog converter) 111 reads out the keyword selection screen data written in the OSD memory 110, carries out D/A conversion, and displays the keywords arranged and displayed in the order of the Japanese syllabary on a monitor 112.
