PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for automatically distributing a module or the like to be executed on a computer such as a server connected to a network for automatically executing a process ranging from the distribution of a program source to the compilation of the source program on the computer. SOLUTION: This program distribution system is configured of a management computer having: a means for storing information relating to a distribution object computer and a source program and distribution setting information; a means for transmitting a source program to an object computer based on the distribution setting information; and a means for receiving compilation processing result information from the object computer, and an object computer having: a means for receiving the source program from the management computer; a means for compiling the source program into an object program; and a means for transmitting the compilation processing result information to the management computer.
