PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground improvement method and a ground improving machine, capable of rapidly performing excavation of ground with reduced wear of an excavating blade, and also provide a ground improvement method and a ground improving machine such that a homogeneous improved structure in which soil is sufficiently mixed with a solidifying agent can be formed. SOLUTION: The ground improving machine comprises the excavating blade 3 for excavating ground by rotation, an auger rod 2 capable of vertically moving the excavating blade 3 with rotating, and an injection means 7 for injecting water or the solidifying agent obliquely downward, which is provided on the bottom of the excavating blade 3.
