PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collecting device capable of preventing fine dust once separated from being sucked to an exhaust opening even if a dust collecting chamber is constituted small. SOLUTION: The dust collecting device 4 includes a dust collecting container 5 storing dust, an exhaust cylinder 9 provided at a substantially center portion of the dust collecting container 5 and exhausting air within the dust collecting container 5, a separating wall 6 partitioning a first space S1 surrounding the outer peripheral face of the exhaust cylinder 9 and a second space S2 arranged along the inner peripheral face of the peripheral wall of the dust collecting container, and an air inflow opening 8 guiding sucked air into the first space S1 inside the separating wall 6. A plurality of separating holes 6c guiding air to the second space S2 outside the separating wall 6 while separating relatively large dust from the sucked air introduced from the air inflow opening 8 and air returning holes returning the air guided into the second spase S2 outside the separating wall 6 through the separating holes 6c to the first space S1 inside the separating wall 6 are arranged in the separating wall 6.
