PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment agent that can be used together with the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide remaining in the permanent wave agent, or the second agent for hair-straightening agent or permanent hair dye or bleaching agent treatment and with deodorization of the reaction smell. SOLUTION: The hair treatment agent is in the cream form and comprises (A) catalase, (B) copper sulfate, (C) quaternary ammonium salt type cationic surfactant, and (D) a higher alcohol of 16 to 22 carbon atoms.
