PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the shape of a wheel capable of improving the performance of an automobile. SOLUTION: The automobile has a vehicle body and wheels rotatably provided at the vehicle body. The method decides the shape of the wheels of the automobile enabling the vehicle body and the wheels to be restored from a laterally tilted state to a non-tilted state by an attitude control mechanism which controls attitude in order to restore the attitude of the automobile. The method for deciding the shape of the wheels has a step for deciding which state of the attitude is restored to the non-tilted state for setting the attitude restoring performance of the automobile and a step for deciding the shape of the wheels based on the result of this decision and parameters indicating the control ability of the attitude control mechanism.
