PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member mounting structure for improving the fuel permeation resistance of a fuel tank. SOLUTION: A mounting hole 26 in an upper face 12U of the fuel tank 12 has a barrier layer extension portion 30 where a barrier layer 24A extends from a tapered face 28 toward the center of the mounting hole 26. A barrier material 36 of a float valve 16 has a front end face formed as an oblique close-contact face 40 parallel to the tapered face 28 of the mounting hole 26. Thus, a contact area between the barrier layer extension portion and the barrier material 36 is larger to be improved in fuel permeation resistance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
