The bolt (1) has a shaft for insertion into a hole in a rock mass (9). The shaft having a profile (11) forms a profiled internal bore (5) with an inlet for connection to an anchoring material pump and an outlet (4) for injecting an anchoring material e.g. plastic material mortar, into the hole in the rock mass, where the profile provides a corrugated or ribbed surface on the shaft. A static mixer (10) fixed at an inlet end of the shaft mixes multiple components of the anchoring material. The internal bore comprises the static mixer that is fixed in place by the profile. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing an injection bolt.
