<p>The present provides a granular laundry detergent composition comprising from 2 to 70 wt. % of surfactant, from 2 to 40 wt. % of sodium carbonate, and from 5 to 80 wt. % of a base treated particulate insoluble agricultural plant by-product, and a method of treating a textile with said composition.</p>
