A handle for a leash comprises a gripping portion and a dispensing portion 7 for holding and dispensing wrappers. Preferably the handle is for a retractable leash 2 wherein the handle has a trigger 4 for controlling release and retraction of the leash. The dispensing portion may comprise a dispenser housed within a housing and in which the leash is coiled around the dispensing portion when retracted. However, the dispensing portion may be mounted in the side of a housing to allow a longer leash to be housed. Preferably the dispensing portion dispenses bag shaped wrappers with a thumb portion. The wrappers may be closed with closures cut to length and dispensed from the handle by an optional closure dispensing device 5. Advantageously the handle for a leash is used when walking animals, in particular dogs. |
