Disclosed is a book packing for preventing reading of a book without permission. The book packing includes a vinyl cover to wrap front and rear book cover sheets, a reading-prevention packing envelope to enclose reading-prohibited book page(s) book, at least one adhesive band having a cutting grip and attached along an adhesive portion of a front cover sheet region of the vinyl cover, an adhesive portion of the reading-prevention packing envelope, a lateral surface of the vinyl cover, and a rear cover sheet region of the vinyl cover to bind the cover and the envelope, and a sealing-packing adhesive band to be attached along predetermined sealing adhesive portions of the vinyl cover and the reading- preventing packing envelope. The book packing prevents not only contamination of books, but also deterioration in the purchasing attractiveness of books due to reading of the whole book without permission while allowing sampling reading of predetermined book pages.
