FIELD: chemical industry; other industries; production of the magnetic materials and the catalysts on the basis of ferrites- chromites of cobalt (II). ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method of production of the solid solutions of CoFe2-xCrxO4 composition with the spinel structure and may be used in chemical industry for production of the magnetic materials and the catalysts on the basis of ferrites- chromites of cobalt (II). The method of production of the solid solutions of CoFe2-xCrxO4 composition includes homogenization of the source oxides of cobalt (II), iron (III), chromium(chrome) (III), briquetting and the thermal treatment at the temperature of 800-1000°. The homogenization is conducted in the presence of the mineralizer, in the capacity of which use the mixture of 0.3-0.5 mass % of potassium chloride and 0.3-0.5 mass % of sodium chloride.
