<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a throughput of recording by eliminating a wasteful cleaning operation during the recording. <P>SOLUTION: This method comprises a detection process of detecting whether or not there is a sudden change of a temperature falling speed in a temperature falling process of a temperature curve detected by a temperature detection element, a first calculation process of obtaining a timing when the change occurs upon the sudden change of the temperature falling speed, and a second calculation process of comparing a change timing in a normal ejection time obtained beforehand with the change timing in the driving to obtain a time difference between them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
