<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a diesel engine fuel with low acid value and viscosity by a simple process. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the diesel engine fuel with low acid value comprises the first step of carrying out a reaction between an alcohol represented by ROH( wherein, R is a 1-24C saturated or unsaturated aliphatic group ) and animal oil and/or vegetable oil at 150-600°C under a pressure of 2-100 MPa to obtain a fatty acid monoesterified product-containing reaction liquid, the second step of removing glycerol, the alcohol left unreacted and water from the above reaction liquid to obtain a fatty acid monoester fraction, the third step of carrying out a reaction between the above fraction and the another batch of the above alcohol under mutual contact in the presence of a cation exchange resin, and the fourth step of obtaining the fatty acid monoesterified product by distilling the reaction liquid obtained in the third step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
