<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a device capable of simply collecting accurate positioning data for immobile objects around a road. <P>SOLUTION: An immobile object position recording device 100 includes: a self vehicle position acquisition device 110 (GPS receiver) for acquiring an absolute position of a self vehicle; an environmental feature acquisition device 120 (positioning device) for acquiring positional information of an object around a road on which the vehicle is running; a self vehicle movement estimation part 140 for estimating the movement (velocity vector, yaw angular velocity and the like) of the self vehicle from the detected environmental features; and an immobile object position estimation part 130 for estimating and outputting the absolute position of the immobile object around the road based on the estimated movement and the absolute position of the self vehicle. The immobile object position estimation part 130 is composed of a self vehicle acquired position evaluation part 131 and an immobile object position evaluation part 132.
