PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both improvement in reception sensitivity and high distortion immunity in a broadcast receiver. SOLUTION: In a broadcast receiver 71, an LNA 33 amplifies an inputted broadcast signal and a tuner 34 receives the amplified broadcast signal. A determination section 171 of a control unit 94 determines whether a receiving status of the tuner 34 is excellent or not and if it is determined that the receiving status of the tuner 34 is not excellent, a switching control section 172 changes a power supply voltage of the LNA 33 so as to change a gain of the LNA 33.
