PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling motor where the problem of close arrangement of other machine elements is solved at the time of fitting the motor to construction equipment, cooling efficiency is improved and non-uniformity can be suppressed in thermal deformation of a motor axis with a rise of a motor temperature, and a magnetic characteristic of a stator is not deteriorated. SOLUTION: A spacer 18 covering the connection of the through-hole 11 of the motor axis 1 with a coolant supply pipe 12 and having a sealed hollow is arranged at an end of a bracket 6 fixed to an anti-load-side of an outer case 4 of the motor. A cooling fan 16 is installed in the back position of the spacer 18 in a direction where cooling fan is sent in parallel to the motor axis 1, and a louver 17 connecting a space between the outer case 4 and a covering plate 14 and the spacer 18 is arranged in the bracket 6 of the anti-load side. Thus, cooling wind uniformly passes between the covering plate 14 and the outer case 4, non-uniformity of the motor temperature is eliminated, thermal deformation of the motor axis 1 is suppressed, and rotation precision can be improved.
