PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HDD suspension capable of optimizing the dynamic response of a slider made by HDI interactions between the slider and a disk. SOLUTION: By one of the following three methods 1 to 3, a load beam 10 is locally stiffened: 1. the method of adding a stiffening member 20 to the proper position of the load beam 10, 2. the method of leaving a special material part without removing a part of the load beam during manufacturing by an etching process, and 3. the method of forming a special structure at specific sites on the load beam by crimping or bending. By adding local stiffening around the dimple 30 of the load beam 10 or between the dimple 30 and a flexure attachment area 60, the dynamic response of the load beam based on the HDI interactions during a disk device operation is greatly improved, and the vibration mode of a slider mounted on the load-beam is removed.
