FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, technique used in vine crop fruit harvesting machines. ^ SUBSTANCE: windrow forming apparatus has fruit shifting device mounted forward of vehicle front wheels by means of frame. Fruit shifting device is made in the form of obliquely positioned beams. There are sides with curved surfaces and supporting members on front parts of beams. Supporting members are mounted rearward of sides. Each of supporting members is formed from round section bar having 12-20 mm diameter. Supporting member is configured similar to ski. Front and rear parts of ski are made curved. Curved parts are joined to one another with their rectilinear 400-800 mm long working portions. Front part of supporting member is inserted into beam of fruit shifting device for vertical movement and free angular rotation. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency in forming of vine fruit windrows and high harvesting quality of windrow forming apparatus. ^ 6 cl, 5 dwg
