USE OF ADENOSINE A1 ANTAGONIST IN RADIOCONTRAST MEDIA INDUCED NEPHROPATHY

The present invention relates to pharmaceutical combinations comprising a therapeutically effective amount of at least one selective adenosine A1 ant agonist and at least one radiocontrast media. In particular, the present inv ention relates to pharmaceutical combinations comprising 4-[(2-phenyl-7H-pyr rolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yl)amino]-trans-cyclohexanol methanesulfonate and/or (4S)-4-hydroxy-1-(2-phenyl-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-yl)-L- prolinamide m ethanesulfonate as selective adenosine A1 antagonists and at least one radio contrast media. The invention also relates to the use of said combinations i n the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of radiocontrast media i nduced nephropathy. Furthermore, the invention is relating to a kit comprisi ng a therapeutically effective amount of said combination of at least one se lective adenosine A1 antagonist and at least one radiocontrast media.
