<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pigment ink useful for inkjet recording having a tendency to reduce the particle diameter of the pigment or the nozzle diameter and having excellent dispersion stability and long-term preservation stability of the pigment. <P>SOLUTION: The pigment ink for inkjet comprises the pigment, water, a water-soluble solvent and a polymer.
