<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller manufacturing method capable of accomplishing uniform heating with accurate temperature distribution in a short time, and also, capable of manufacturing a roller with less difference in outside diameter and with uniform-shaped outside diameter. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the elastic roller manufacturing method to form an unvulcanized rubber roller by using a core bar and covering the periphery of the core bar with unvulcanized rubber, thereafter, thermally hardening the unvulcanized rubber roller, the axial center of the core bar is arranged in a gravity direction, and a plurality of IR heaters are horizontally arranged in the shape of a side wall so as to be orthogonal to the unvulcanized roller, and the position of the IR heater as a unit is adjustable up and down, back and forth, and also, the position of the single heater is finely adjustable back and forth. The output can be individually set within an optional range of the heating temperature by a temperature setting machine. By such the primary vulcanizing method, the method of manufacturing the roller with less difference in outside diameter and with uniform-shaped outside diameter can be provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
