PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that temperature of a hard disk drive is increased by a heat generated in a main body of a video camera with the hard disk drive and an optical disk drive built in the same chassis. SOLUTION: The video camera includes an imaging unit for picking up an image, a display unit 6 for displaying the picked up image, a hard disk drive 1 for recording the picked up image, and an optical disk drive 21 for driving a detachable optical disk. In the video camera, the display unit 6, the optical disk drive 21, and the hard disk drive 1 are arranged in this order.
