PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when a screen is small, program information can not be efficiently displayed on occasion. SOLUTION: First, processing is initiated in step S1 (start), and it is determined whether an EPG is displayed in step S2. When displayed (Yes), processing is advanced to steps S3 and S4 and a magnitude relation between a display region A1 and an occupancy region A2 for a title name to be displayed is determined for each program title. In A1<A2 in the step S4, namely, when the region A2 to be displayed is smaller than a displayable range A1 (Yes), processing is advanced to step S5.
