PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which creates an image with a high resolution at a high frame rate. SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises a red imaging element for photosensitizing with an incident light and outputting a red signal 20R with pixels being arranged in a checkers pattern, a green imaging element for photosensitizing with the incident light and outputting a green signal 20G with pixels being arranged in the checkers pattern, a blue imaging element for photosensitizing with the incident light and outputting a blue signal 20B with pixels being arranged in the checkers pattern, an interpolation means for interpolating vacant pixels by peripheral pixels, and a correlation means for acquiring a correlation relationship of the peripheral pixels of the vacant pixels. The correlation means acquires the correlation relationship for each of the red signal 20R, the green signal 20G and the blue signal 20B based on at least either one color signal of the red signal 20R, the green signal 20G and the blue signal 20B, and the interpolation means interpolates the vacant pixels for each of the red signal 20R, the green signal 20G and the blue signal 20B based on the correlation relationship and creates an imaging signal.
